Thomas H. Tourjee

    Thomas H. Tourjee died last Sunday, aged seventy-nine years. Thus closed a busy life. He began to work at an early age and kept it up until the civil war broke out, when he in company with other young men went to their country's defense. Returning to his his native town, he was elected to the Superindendency of Elm Grove, a position which he filled until a short time ago. At the time of his death he was the oldest member of Charles O Baker Post, No. 16 G.A.R., and leaves a number of grandchildren to morn his loss.
